Dr. Karishma Sheikh’s path to dentistry began not only as a provider, but first as a patient herself. After experiencing a significant dental injury during childhood, she spent years navigating dental treatment firsthand—experiences that shaped her understanding of what compassionate, patient-centered care should truly feel like. Some experiences were positive, others challenging, but each one helped shape the kind of dentist she would one day become.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, as the founder of Procare Dental Studio in McKinney, Dr. Sheikh is dedicated to providing comprehensive, advanced dental care with precision, compassion, and attention to detail. Her philosophy combines modern technology, clinical excellence, and genuine human connection to create an experience where patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care.
Dr. Sheikh earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2023 after previously practicing dentistry internationally, bringing a broad depth of clinical experience and perspective to her work. She remains committed to continuing education and advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, restorative dentistry, sedation dentistry, and digital workflows to stay at the forefront of modern patient care.
